Website Accessibility – OMIPA S.p.A.
Accessibility Statement
OMIPA S.p.A. is committed to making its website accessible to all people, regardless of disability, assistive technologies, or browsing methods, in compliance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) – implemented in Italy through Legislative Decree No. 82/2022 – and with reference to WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.
Compliance Status
The website is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by the European Accessibility Act, due to certain non-conformities or temporary exceptions.
OMIPA S.p.A. is engaged in a process of continuous improvement of digital accessibility, progressively addressing these issues in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.
Non-accessible Content
Below are the main elements that may not be fully accessible.
This list is based on a preliminary site analysis and will be updated following more in-depth technical audits.
Images: some images (banners, machinery photos, diagrams) may lack descriptive alternative text or may include text alternatives not fully appropriate to the context.
PDF documents: brochures or technical sheets available on the site may not be properly structured or tagged according to the PDF/UA standard, making them not fully readable by screen readers.
Menus and dynamic components: dropdown menus, carousels, and other script-driven elements may not always be fully navigable using a keyboard, or may lack visible focus indicators and appropriate ARIA roles.
Color contrast: text over images or overlays may not meet the minimum contrast ratio required by WCAG.
Links with generic labels: textual links such as “Read more” or “Details” without additional context that clearly identifies the destination.
Multimedia content: some videos may lack complete subtitles or transcripts.
Note: these findings are the result of manual observation and do not replace a full accessibility audit (automated + manual testing + user testing). Detailed issues and priorities will be defined in the Accessibility Improvement Plan.
We are working to correct these aspects in collaboration with accessibility specialists and through periodic testing with users and assistive technologies.
